Every Formula 1 Grand Prix comes with its own allure and excitement, and The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix’s track through the city and the Las Vegas Strip is what takes this event over the top. Taking a look at the F1 Las Vegas track map truly puts the grandeur of the track into perspective, with its sharp turns and long straightaways running parallel to the city’s most iconic attractions.
While the race itself is full of excitement, pre-planning must stay top of mind for pilots and flight teams flying in for the F1 Vegas weekend. Whether you’re flying a Vegas jet charter or operating your own private aircraft, the details below will help to ensure smooth arrival and departure amidst busy traffic and event schedules throughout the city.
Where to Land
Harry Reid International Airport (Signature LAS)
Signature LAS at Harry Reid International Airport offers best-in-class services for private jets to Vegas. Our LAS terminal is a roughly 10-minute drive to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit™, depending on traffic, making it an ideal choice for quick access to the center of all the action.
- No slot restrictions are required at this terminal.
- No temporary flight restriction will be in place during this event.
- While still usable, be aware that the LAS ramp is currently under construction.
- 3rd party vehicles will be allowed on the ramp during this event.
Traffic
Las Vegas is a heavily populated and busy area, especially during events like F1 Las Vegas. Your crew can ensure smooth traffic management by pre-planning and staying on track with scheduled arrival or departure times. While ramp access for 3rd party vehicles will be permitted at Signature LAS, this only applies to vehicles in compliance with county standards.
Encourage your passengers to have a plan in place for ground transportation ahead of arrival to ensure efficiency at every turn. They should also be aware that the ramp will likely experience a high volume of traffic during this event.
Parking and Fueling
Parking space at Signature LAS will be limited during F1 Las Vegas 2025. The best way to mitigate parking issues is to communicate with the Signature team to secure parking ahead of time. During this event, Signature is planning to use 50% of LAS’s charter ramp for aircraft wider than 80 feet.
In addition to parking planning, pre-arranging fueling service minimizes wait times for every aircraft present. Whenever possible, it is highly recommended that fuel be taken immediately upon arrival for smoother traffic management during departures.
Communication, Safety, and Security
During major events like F1 Las Vegas 2025, Signature Aviation works hand in hand with the TSA, DOA, and FAA to ensure all information is properly distributed.
Guests can expect to receive updates through:
- NOTAMs posted on the FAA website.
- Signature Aviation email updates and Travel Alerts.
Safety and security are Signature’s top priority. During high-profile events like F1 Las Vegas, we supplement our staff with support from other Signature locations and increased patrolling frequency from local police. Additionally, Signature is extremely vigilant in controlling the flow rate of arriving and departing aircraft per hour.
