At Signature, our approach is centered around caring about our environment, caring about our people, and committing to strong governance. We have aligned our initiatives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which serve as the framework guiding us in identifying challenges, defining solutions, and measuring results.
Leading the industry on environmental matters is fundamental to our strategy. As environmental expectations grow, we have a responsibility to raise the bar, drive change and create value through further differentiation and engagement with customers, airport partners and employees. At Signature, employees place a high value on social and environmental responsibility. These values complement our commitment to inspire a culture of environmental stewardship and awareness at every site, reduce our use of key resources, increase recycling, reduce waste, and eliminate environmental incidents such as fuel spills. Through these efforts we are committed to reaching net zero in our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2050.

Signature Aviation, the world’s largest private aviation terminal operator, has achieved carbon neutrality for 2022 across our global network of more than 200 FBO locations. Signature’s investment in carbon neutrality covers greenhouse gas emissions from all ground equipment, vehicles, facilities, electrical and natural gas heating and buildings (known as Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions). We have committed to maintaining carbon neutral operations for every year going forward, becoming the first private aviation company to make such a network-wide commitment.
