The Ryder Cup’s prime location in New York City lends itself to a variety of options for private jet arrivals and departures.
The following locations are Signature Aviation’s top recommendations for where to land your aircraft for the most seamless and simple access to the Ryder Cup festivities:
Signature TEB boasts three dedicated terminals for peak service capacity and the ability to tailor your landing location based on your particular aircraft’s needs. Situated roughly 90 minutes from Bethpage Black, this premier private aviation terminal is an ideal choice for easy access to highways while remaining separate from heavy city traffic.
Slot Requirements: No arrival slots are required at TEB.
Ramp Access: Third-party vehicles are not permitted on the ramp during the event.
PPR Requirements: Prior permission required is in place at TEB before landing or departure, with a fee for violations.
Capacity & Parking: TEB has ramp space that can accommodate a high number of large-sized aircraft and offers hangar space based on availability, but congestion is still a factor that must be considered due to high event traffic. Remote parking may be used if congestion occurs.
Operational Notes: September is one of TEB’s peak months, and gridlock is common. Prior reservations are strongly advised, with at least 6 hours’ notice for arrivals, departures, fueling, and ground services.
HPN boasts a large ramp and updated facilities, and is an ideal location for travelers looking for a seamless business aviation experience, located roughly 80 minutes from Bethpage Black.
Slot Requirements: None required.
Ramp Access: Third-party vehicles permitted on the ramp during the event.
Capacity & Parking: Approx. 28 aircraft capacity; remote parking available if the ramp is congested.
Operational Notes: While no PPR fee is in place, arrivals and departures still need to be scheduled in advance to ensure the safest and most efficient service possible.
For travelers looking to experience a different slice of life in New York, welcome to Signature FOK. Located in the heart of the Hamptons, your passengers can enjoy visiting Long Island while still catching all the action at Bethpage Black, located only 90 minutes from the private aviation terminal.
Slot Requirements: None required.
Ramp Access: Third-party vehicles are not permitted on the ramp during the event.
Capacity & Parking: This ramp is constrained due to size. It is typically able to accommodate up to 20–25 aircraft.
Operational Notes: After-hours noise abatement is in place from 2300-0700.
The New York metro area is heavily congested under normal conditions, and this will only increase during Ryder Cup 2025. Pilots should coordinate closely with ground transportation providers, and passengers should plan for extra time in transit to Bethpage Black. Signature is happy to provide insight into Ryder Cup travel services when possible, through hotel and transportation recommendations.
Parking will be limited at all Signature locations during the event. The most effective way to secure parking is through early reservations, and fueling upon arrival is highly recommended. Crews managing private jet travel to the Ryder Cup 2025 should confirm ramp space and fueling slots with their Ryder Cup FBO well in advance.
Signature Aviation works closely with local airport authorities to manage high-traffic events. Crews can expect operational updates through the NOC team, direct emails, and coordination with airport communication channels. Safety protocols include increased staffing, ramp monitoring, and a stop-work safety approach in the event operational concerns arise.
Our goal is to provide a world-class experience for pilots, crews, and passengers. Our terminals are equipped with all of the needed amenities for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
If your passengers are still in need of lodging or transportation for their Ryder Cup visit, we are happy to provide a list of recommended hotels, as well as rental car booking in partnership with Go Rentals.
Amenities vary by location but include private lounges, coffee, complimentary toiletries, and crew transportation. Select locations will offer event-specific hospitality touches for guests arriving for the Ryder Cup 2025.
As momentum builds for this year's highly anticipated Ryder Cup, Signature is here as a resource for flight crews and planners, and is eager to welcome you in September!
Teterboro (KTEB) is the most common choice for private aviation due to its extensive ramp space and easy highway access. Westchester County (HPN), and Francis S. Gabreski (FOK) are also strong options depending on passenger preferences and travel priorities.
