Pre-planning is crucial for pilots, flight teams, and passenger flying in for the F1 Vegas weekend to ensure smooth arrival and departure amidst busy traffic and event schedules throughout the city. Whether you’re flying a Vegas jet charter or operating your own private aircraft, the details below will help you stay prepared for a seamless experience with Signature Aviation at LAS as you plan your travel.

Planning and Logistics

Your passenger’s experience in Las Vegas begins the moment they step onto the aircraft. It’s important to follow the restrictions set for large events like F1. Refer to the guidelines Signature LAS has implemented to ensure smooth logistics during race weekend.

  • Slot restrictions will be in place from November 19-26, so secure your arrival and departure times well in advance.

  • Signature LAS will be operating a Prior Permission Required (PPR) policy from November 19-26.  While we do not offer hangar parking during this high-traffic period, our team completes ground services on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Where to Land

Signature LAS at Harry Reid International Airport offers best-in-class services for private jets to Vegas. Our LAS terminal is a 15-45 minute drive to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit™, depending on traffic, making it an ideal choice for quick access to the center of the event.

Traffic

Las Vegas is a heavily populated and busy area, especially during events like F1 Las Vegas. Your crew can ensure smooth traffic management by pre-planning and not deviating from scheduled arrival or departure times. They should also be aware that the ramp will likely experience a high volume of traffic during this event.

3rd party vehicles will not be permitted ramp access at Signature LAS, so encourage your passengers to have a plan in place for ground transportation ahead of arrival to ensure efficiency at every turn.

Parking and Refueling

Traffic issues are reduced when proactive communication and attentive coordination are prioritized. Signature’s management team focuses on communicating with your flight crew to ensure a parking plan is established.

Parking space at Signature LAS will be limited during F1 Las Vegas. The best way to mitigate parking issues is to communicate with the Signature team to secure parking ahead of time, and to pre-arrange fueling service to minimize wait times for every aircraft present.

Communication

During major events like the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Signature Aviation works hand in hand with the TSA, DOA, and FAA to ensure all information is properly distributed.

Clients can expect to receive updates through:

  • NOTAMs posted on the FAA website

  • Signature Aviation website, email updates, and phone calls

  • Access to FlightBridge for seamless arrival and departure coordination

Safety is our top priority at Signature, and that is never more important than during high-profile and high-traffic events.

During high-profile events like F1 Las Vegas, we have increased staffing with support from other Signature locations for additional support, and we are vigilant in controlling the flow rate of arriving and departing aircraft per hour.
